A plain-language summary of how VitaFiles handles your information on web, Android and iOS.
Data we collect
Account email and the health data you enter: vitals, medicines, labs, other lab reports, and journal notes. Optional photos you attach (prescriptions, lab printouts) are stored with the related record.
How we use it
Only to provide the app's features to you — show your history, run reminders, and generate your own PDF / CSV exports. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
Securely in our cloud backend (Supabase). Each account's data is isolated by row-level security; only you can read your records when signed in.
Sharing with third parties
We use a small number of processors strictly to run the app: Supabase (database, auth, storage), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Google Gemini (scan/OCR of your uploaded images), and PayMongo (web payment processing only). They never receive data for marketing.
Account deletion
You can remove individual profiles inside the app, or contact support to delete your entire account and all associated health records. Deletion is permanent.
Children
VitaFiles is intended for use by adults tracking their own and their family members' health. It is not directed at children under 13.
Payments
On web, one-time Lifetime Access is processed by PayMongo. On Android and iOS apps, in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase respectively. We never see your card details.
